Vacation!

I am on 'vacation' and will not be posting freebies this week. But, be sure to check a couple posts down for a freebie QP. I'll be back next week with some goodies for you all.

While I was away...

It's been a busy couple of days. My laptop is out of commission :(. My friend's hubby is looking at it for me, fingers crossed he can fix the problem.

So, I've spent the past couple of days trying to set my PC up like my laptop. As soon as I think I have everything, I have to download, copy, move something else. At least it's cool here in the basement...looking on the bright side :)

I am hoping to have things back in order shortly!

Recent Brownie Scraps LOs

It's absolutely freezing here today. A great day to curl up and do some scrapping. Here are a few new LOs I have done lately. I believe I am over 30 for the month, which is a record for me.

I really enjoy being on the CT for Brownie Scraps because I can choose from the awesome kits in the store to create LOs. The challenges there are a great way to get pages done and they really are challenging to complete...but fun. :)

My Scrappy Resolutions for 2009

- Complete 200 layouts as well as completing the 365 project at Brownie Scraps.
- Do more journaling on my layouts
- Use more bright colours for layouts. Right now I have a lot of blue hued layouts and it wasn't intentional...lol.
- Blog more and provide more freebies - word art, QPs and possibly even templates
- Dabble more in hybrid scrapping and card making
-I am also thinking about designing as well...we'll see.

Happy Halloween!!

Yesterday we carved our pumpkin and roasted the pumpkin seeds for the first time. I liked them but nodody else did.

Evan is gone to school as a Power Ranger with cookies to share and treat bags for his classmates. He was a very excited boy today!!

Organizing

Every now and then I have to clear files off my hard drive to make room for more downloads & layouts.

Today is the day to get that done...again. No scrapping time this weekend, not yet anyway.

I went shopping with a friend yesterday and had a great time. We were both shopped out by the time we got home...lol.

I did buy a new paper pack of scrapbooking paper for making cards at Winners. I LOVE that store.

Off to clear off some files and I have a paper craft project in the works...

A Week of Firsts

This is my first post on this blog (yay!!), Evan starts Kindergarten tomorrow and Jacob's first birthday is on Friday. It's been a busy, exciting week!

It's 30 C outside today and it's September. Our summers seem to start later and end later these days.

I haven't done any digiscrapping today but I need to get a First Day of School page started.

Off to make pizza dough for supper...yummy!!
